English Language GCSE Booster - (1-1)

BOOST YOUR GRADE
In this class your child will learn, practice and review the skills set out in the Assessment Objectives for GCSE English Language.

The class is ideal for pupils who are struggling to get or maintain a passing grade and who need to focus on specific aspects of the curriculum that are making progress difficult.

In this class your child will:

• improve their essay-writing and SPaG skills;
• learn how to develop interesting creative and factual writing pieces required for Task 2 in both language papers;
• master 'language' and 'structure' features and learn how to apply them correctly in exam questions;
• and learn the relevant subject terminology for analysing and writing about texts.

As well as the usual worksheets and exam practice papers, your child will learn using online games, quizzes and puzzles.

Included in your fee are subscriptions to IXL (Maths and English) and STORYBOARDTHAT (rrp £25 a month )
